What Drives Us


We are devoted to helping kids fuel their drive and build self-confidence through sport and education by providing financial support and guidance to participate in youth sports. 

We actively promote Golf and the PGA Jr League on a national scale and Tennis through Denver Tennis Park. We can cover registration fees, equipment, and guidance to get started. 

Our Mission is to BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE THROUGH SPORTS.

We strive to encourage advancement, betterment, and self-confidence in kids through sport and education. We pledge to advance the Lead.Believe.Create. philosophy by taking the lead in fostering an environment where kids can Believe in themselves and Create opportunities now and into the future.

Who We Are


Board of Directors

  • Founder & President

    Terry serves as a Managing Director for Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Company, a private mortgage insurance company, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI. He has more than 30 years of risk management experience with the last 20 years focused on mortgage lending. He is a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and maintains that designation with less than 1100 individuals in the US. Terry is married to Michelle, lives in Colorado and has two adult children residing in Michigan. He is passionate about golf, health, and helping others become the best they can be. He and Michelle founded Fuel The Drive to help young people find their voice, their passion, and their confidence through sport as others have helped them throughout their youth.

  • Jason Sasena is the Chief Strategy Officer at Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. In his career, Sasena has held leadership roles with Lake Michigan Credit Union, Kinecta Federal Credit Union, JP Morgan Chase, GMAC Residential Capital and ditech.com. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Midland, Michigan-based Northwood University supplemented with a Master’s Degree in Internet Marketing from Orlando, Florida-based Full Sail University. Jason is a Residential Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB®) with the Mortgage Bankers Association, serves on the ACUMA Board of Directors and is a member of the Cardwell Group 306/2 Leadership Symposium. Jason is a contributing author of ‘The Mortgage Professional’s Handbook’, a comprehensive multi-volume resource since the meltdown on every aspect of the mortgage business where 100% of royalties go to benefit charity.

  • Dave has extensive leadership and nonprofit experience and currently sits on boards of Empowering Opportunities, Colorado Center for Environmental Management, National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education, Center for Occupational Research and Development and FORCE W-League Women’s Semi-Pro Soccer, and his heavily involved in United States Tennis Association (USTA) Youth Tennis Foundation. He is deeply passionate about youth, education, and tennis. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University (BA) and Colorado State University MS).

  • Rhona is a certified tennis professional, certified personal trainer, a registered dietician, and passionate about helping kids. She has been teaching at Greenwood since December 1995. Originally from Ireland, she was their #1 women’s player from 1982-1984. Rhona was an assistant coach at TCU and in 2005 was named the USPTA Player of the Year and held the #1 USTA national ranking in her age group. Rhona was inducted into the Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame in 2010 and was selected as one of only four players nationally to represent the US in New Zealand as a member of the US Young Cup Team. She received this honor on two occasions. Rhona has two children with her husband Greg.

  • Andy is a committed leader in both the mortgage industry and the nonprofit sector, bringing a passion for community service to their role on Fuel the Drive's board. With prestigious designations as a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP), Andy offers a blend of industry expertise and strategic insight. 

     He has an extensive background in nonprofit work. He has served as a top 10 fundraiser and committee member for the Fight for Air Stair Climb and as a board member and former president of the Youth Opportunity Foundation. Additionally, he contributed as a tutor for the Bridge Project, supporting educational opportunities for underserved youth and is currently serving on the Fannie Mae Lender Diversity Council.
