Who We Are

Board of Directors

Terry A. Aikin, Founder & President of Fuel the Drive

Terry serves as a Managing Director for Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Company, a private mortgage insurance company, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI. He has more than 30 years of risk management experience with the last 20 years focused on mortgage lending. He is a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and maintains that designation with less than 1100 individuals in the US. Terry is married to Michelle, lives in Colorado and has two adult children residing in Michigan. He is passionate about golf, health, and helping others become the best they can be. He and Michelle founded Fuel The Drive to help young people find their voice, their passion, and their confidence through sport as others have helped them throughout their youth.

Michelle L. Alamo, Founder & Vice President of Fuel the Drive

Michelle is a lifelong “social” athlete, from her early days of Pee Wee Football Cheerleading, Ponytail Softball, and Youth Recreational Basketball, to her high school years with the swim, basketball, and softball teams. Always looking for new challenges and experiences, her passion for sports and fitness led her to take up tennis, golf, cycling, running, and yoga in recent years, including five Ironman® Triathlons. When she is not exploring new limits on the court or the course, Michelle applies much of what she has gained from sports throughout the years – such as teamwork, confidence, leadership, preparation, relentlessness, and resiliency – in the courtroom as an accomplished litigator. Michelle’s motto, “Anything is possible if you believe in yourself.”
